I’m not too keen on the jonas brothers.

Urgh… I like the Jonas Brothers and all but McFly is sosososoo much better.

This is only going to make more american people call them the british Jonas Brothers (I’m American and it annoys the hell out of me.)

I agree. I’m American too and I really don’t think the jonas brothers will make breaking america any easier for them.
If anything, people will try to say that McFly are coping the joans brothers or some crap like that >.<

Exactly Shannon! I have a die hard jonas friend and she thinks that star girl was ripped off that one Jonas song.

McFly is what Jonas wish they could be, honestly. McFly are much more mature and they don’t have 6 billion 11 year old fan girls.

i love both McFly and the Jonas Brothers. i definitely love McFly longg before i became interested in JB. i think it would be hazardous to have both McFly and JB fans in the same place. i thought McFly fans were crazy enough until i’ve seen the Jonas Brothers fans.

but it would be really stupid if people started calling McFly the british Jonas Brothers or say they’re “copying” JB. it’s like saying Marty McFly copied McFly’s name. LOL it doesn’t make sense if one came before the other!

I’m also American, and I like JB, but there’s no arguing it. McFLY is wayy better.
And I mean, it’s great that JB talks about McFLY, cuz it might get more people into them, but its really just gonna be tweens.
And obviously, McFLY want more than just tweenage fans.

And the first time I heard the JB song “Out of this World” I immediately thought they copied “Star Girl” not the other way around.

But hey, McFLY is number 17 on the iTunes Pop Chart right now, so that’s pretty darn good. =]

I personally love both JB and McFly. But i think of them as two seperate bands, not “the american McFly” or the “British JB”. I don’t think either of the bands copied off one another really.
and it would be awesome if i could see a Jonas Brothers AND McFly show at the same time, two for one, lol.
But yeah, i am concerned about McFly’s fan-base. Well, the more the merrier i guess. I have a feeling that McFly will reach out to more than just teeny-boppers though once they hit the radio in the USA.
I’ll be pretty damn pleased when i see McFly topping the charts in America.
i can’t even remember who i liked first between JB and McFly. lol.

No offence, but I think Jonas Brothers are overrated. McFly should deserve more recognition than them because obviously, they are way better than the JB.

I’m from America and me and one of my friends are the only ones that i know of in my town that even know who Mcfly is… if they tour with the Jonas Brothers that would kill there chances over here! since then everyone will start viewing them in a JB style…..

I love both bands so freaking much. They are my two favorites actually. I started liking both at around the same time, 2006-ish or so. I definitely see similarities between the two bands. I bet they would be able to make a collaboration work. Obviously they are different and yes the Jonas Brothers are not as mature, but JB is younger. They also haven’t had as much experience as McFly. I think the Jonas Brothers could learn a lot from McFly. And maybe the Jonas Brothers could help (not completely, but still help) introduce the United States to McFly because of their popularity over here. No matter what though, there will always be people unhappy because it is impossible to please everyone. As for the teeny boppers from what I can tell McFly doesn’t exactly attract the “adult” crowd either. I would say their fans are a tad older than JB but not by much. Whatever happens I hope both bands do it willingly and not because someone else wants them to.

McFly and JB is a big no no. McFly is way better than those Disney kids. I listened to the new album of JB, it’s bubblegum pop and that’s not how McFly sounds. Well, I mean, if McFly is targetting the US market, fine, work with some big names like erm, Fall Out Boy as they’re gonna release their new album soon (oh right, Mcfly and FOB will have a show together on 12 Oct, right. Ask for a collaboration then.) But not JB.

If Mcfly works with JB, good for JB, ’cause they get to know what real music should be like. But for McFly, it will be ruining their music.

NO!!! I love McFly and i personally do not like the Jonas Brothers, but i do know that there are some crazy JB fans out there, like almost insane, and they would think that McFly copied the JB and since they are so big here (i live in America) i think it might really hurt McFly’s ratings over here, and i would love to see McFly be like top of the charts and for my friends to see what im obsessing about, but all they may think about is the JB!!!

Yesterday at the jobros concert mc fly were there! and they did like 1 of mcfly’s songs and they sang it together and dougie threw his drum stick n the crowd. p.s. joe also threw his jacket!

That’s cool but I also agree, McFly is much better than the JoBros.
I just think the pairing is not right since the Jonas Brothers are so Disney pop.

i absolutely hate the jonas brothers and i hate it when people put mcfly down and compare them to the jonas brothers because mcfly came first. The jonas brothers have life so easy coz they had disney behind them and they sing songs that people won’t know because they are old american songs that got burnt out 70 years ago. They try to be mcfly’s friends but one day they are going to walk all over mcfly and will soon use their concerts to become more famous. i love mcfly for ever and ever and ever!!! x x x x x x

i absolutely LOVE McFly ( L ).
they are such an amazing band. i do like the jonas brothers as well. but McFly is the waaay better band of the 2. If the JB are gonna be taking away the popularity of McFly that is soo unfair. i want McFly in America ! or maybe even Canada? taht would be awesomeeee. xox

I love mcfly so much more than the jb but I think that’s cause I know they are so far away and I only dream of seeing them live and the won’t come to america, it makes me sad. I love the jb and I’ve met them, and I’m seeing them in august. I just wish mcfly would come to america. I know they would make it!!
